As the automatic updates to the Chrome extension rolls out (updating to 3.1.7) it may show you as logged out for a short period of time before the second part of this process is complete.

Chameleon is ready with an update to our domain name to https://chameleon.io. With this change we will be able to offer everyone a better, more well rounder experience.
Authentication:
You may need to re-login depending on how long it's been since you loaded app.trychameleon.com. If it's been more than 1 week you may need to login with a Magic link, Google Auth (https://chameleon.io/login) or with SSO (https://chameleon.io/sso). For our daily users of Chameleon we will upgrade your logged in session to ork on the new domain. More broadly, this change will be transparent and with backwards compatibility at the top of mind.
CSP and Backwards compatibility:
All current customers will be able to run Chameleon fully backwards compatible on *.trychameleon.com just as you have up until this point. The on-page snippet you installed in your web application **does not need to change**. We fully understand that you have CSPs that specifically depend on and allow-list the *.trychameleon.com domain. We will continue to support this indefinitely.
Key updates:
A few key new features available after this major upgrade (please contact us directly if you have any specific interest in this for your account hello@trychameleon.com).
- Load just 1/3 of the JS into the page compared to the previous version (with highly cacheable chunks). - You now have the ability to run Chameleon as first-party on your own TLD (e.g. chmln.your-product.com) with 0 third party interactions. - Login at https://chameleon.io/login, your dashboard at https://app.chameleon.io - Quickly jump between Chameleon Experiences and Search for Help content with CMD+K (in the Builder and the Dashboard). - Chameleon Experience configuration in the Dashboard (in BETA contact us to get started with it). - Import Data via CSV - Manage your Experiences with Scheduled publishing and the ability to "unpublish when your receive X responses".
Chrome extension:
At the beginning of this maintenance window a new version of the Chrome extension will be published (the new version if 3.1.7). We typically see automatic updates occur within in the first ~3 hours but occasionally it can take longer. If the extension shows you as logged-out even after logging in, you may need to manually remove and reinstall the extension here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chameleon-builder/lfckcgkphfglcodbedlpkkkkjicbngpe to get version 3.1.7.
